IBC RULES
Please find attached the latest set rules Boccia rules from the IBC.
A few new rules that stand out are;
i) Yellow and red cards (only to be used in extreme circumstances
ii) Time outs reduced from three to two minutes
iii) The Referee may call Captains (or Players in individual divisions) forward if measuring has to take place, or the decision is close at the end of an end.
iv) after the Referee has indicated which side to throw, any player of that side may leave their throwing box and enter the court to ascertain positioning of the balls in court.
These rules should be put into place as soon as possible with every athlete and official.
