As well as giving uptodate news on all issues of boccia, being played both in Australia and around the World, we hope you'll enjoy the Gallery of photos which look back over the years and show many happy memories, friendships and hard fought matches - all made possible through the game of boccia. After joining Boccia Australia one day soon you could be travelling interstate to go head to head with players from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Canberra, Tasmania, South Australia and New Zealand. Boccia Australia is growing fast and it would be a pleasure to have you grow with us.

New boccia sessions starting in Victoria at Monash Uni on a Sunday morning – 8.30 to 10.30am – weekly, leading up to Xmas and then a change to Saturday mornings in the new year!!! First session on 13 November. It’s a bit exciting. For more info contact paul.vanoosten@paralympic.org.au

Boccia Competition Structure updated 2011 Posted by Lachlan Kavanagh

Boccia competitions will be organised on a two-part basis; Pool Rounds followed by Elimination Rounds. Pool Rounds are based on pools of 3 – 6 sides which all play each other once, with an agreed number of sides progressing to the Elimination Rounds.
