Purpose
To provide a pathway and support network so that our athletes, coaches and support staff can thrive and strive for performance. With a vision to have every classifcation (paralympic sport class) in our performance pathway reprsented at our benchmark events. (ie: World Championships and Paralympics)
Pathway
A Pre-Emerging player is an athlete that is beginning to develop a boccia specific skill set. Along with beginning to compete at the appropiate level of competition. (ie: club competition and state based titles). Refer the Pre-Emerging Framework for further information.

Training partner opportunities within the DPE, where available and as determined by BA coaches A minimum of three face-to-face coaching sessions with a BA Coach Para-Unit sampling opportunities, where available Invitation and support to own state-based camp, with an invitation to attend a second camp at athletes own expense |
Train consistently a minimum of 4–8 hrs/week in your own environment and/or club Compete at club level and at least two state level competitions each year Demonstrate values, behaviours and a learning mindset showing coachability and commitment to improvement As a training partner, be prepared, match ready and committed to giving your best with invited to participate in the DPE |
