Purpose

With Boccia Australia’s (BA's) goal to see an incremental growth of the number of athletes, coaches, and ramp operators in our Paralympic (BC1, BC2, BC3 & BC4)  performance pathway.  Talent development within the Performance Pathway aligns with our high-performance strategy and VISION: Provide a sustainable high-performance program for ongoing international success, including a sustainable pathway for identifying and developing future podium athletes. 

Pathway

The Talent Development Program within the Performance Pathway is to provide talented athletes, coaches, and ramp operators with a daily performacne environment (DPE) that supports the development of High-Performance behaviours along with technical & tactical skills for success to achieve Podium Potential. For athletes, coaches, ramp operators, families, and support workers to have a love of the game, an understanding of the success factors that lead to High Performance and ultimately to achieve success at the highest level – Paralympics.
