EOI for Talent Development Coach, Brisbane HUB closes Fri 2nd Dec

Published Thu 10 Nov 2022

Introduction:  Boccia Australia’s goal is to see an incremental growth in the number of athletes, coaches, and ramp operators in our performance pathway. To do this we need to ensure that our pathway is strong, is resourced and has the support systems in place so they can all perform at their best.

Talent Development within the Performance Pathway will align with the high-performance strategy and VISION: Provide a sustainable high-performance program for ongoing international success, including a sustainable pathway for identifying and developing future podium athletes. (Talent Identification or TID)

Purpose: The purpose of the Performance Pathway HUB is to provide talented athletes, coaches, and ramp operators with a Daily Training Environment that supports the development of High-Performance behaviours along with technical and tactical skills for success to achieve Podium Potential.  For athletes, coaches, ramp operators, families and support workers to have a love of the game.

Therefore, we are seeking passionate coaches with a background in sport or para-sport that are keen to coach in our Brisbane (QLD) HUB – in the role of: Performance Pathway Coach (Talent Development). This will be a casual, part time paid role with some identified key outcomes as they relate to the success of the development HUB’s, athletes, and the program in general.  Applicants do not need to have Boccia experience, as development opportunities will be provided.
