Seeking nominations for Boccia Australia Selection Panel

Boccia Australia (BA) is recognised by World Boccia as the organisation responsible for Boccia in Australia. BA selects athletes to compete internationally at all World Boccia sanctioned events. Nominations are called for from interested persons for appointment to the BA Selection Panel. From these nominations, the Board of BA will review, assess and appoint successful candidates. BA is seeking people with a range of experience and knowledge for these roles

Classification Advisory Committee

Interested in classification? At the end of 2022 Boccia Australia will take over the management of classification from Paralympics Australia. Paralympic Australia will maintain a supporting role BA is looking for athletes and non-playing members, to join the newly formed Classification Advisory Committee The role of the committee would be to help in the review of the National and Provisional Classification policies, procedures and guidelines and provide recommendations to help improve efficienc

BISFed International Boccia Rules 2021_2024 (v.1)

The update BISFed Rules 2021 -2021 V1 are now available on the World Boccia website as well as the BA website  Lisa Hanssens, Head Referee is working with the referees, to ensure they are ready to implement them at 2022 competitions. Changes include ramp assistants are now called Ramp Operators (RO’s), increasing the size of the penalty box and clarification on what is a dropped ball. While Boccia Australia will implement these rules there is the ability to make changes to suit our athletes.
